About EzyGreen

EzyGreen is an easy, simple-to-use program that helps residents across Greater Brisbane and South East Queensland to save energy, save on power bills and do something good for the environment.

We all want Brisbane to remain one of the most liveable cities in the world, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. By putting options for cleaner, greener living in one easy-to-follow program, EzyGreen takes the hassle out of turning your home green. 

EzyGreen makes it easy for households to reduce their carbon footprint. 

On this site you can easily access a number of free and discounted energy-saving options, as well as energy supply alternatives. EzyGreen options for your home will vary depending on where you live and if you are a home owner or renter:

• Queensland Government’s ClimateSmart Home Service that is available for only $50
• Discount vouchers for energy-efficient products from EzyGreen retail partners
• A high quality solar hot water system at a competitive price, supplied by Energy Assist
• An exclusive $300 EzyGreen discount on all 1.575kW solar power systems if purchased prior to 31 December 2011.

EzyGreen is an initiative of Brisbane City Council, proudly partnering with the Queensland Government and other local partners including Ingenero, Energy Assist, Crest and The Good Guys. 

Brisbane City Council is committed to a sustainable Brisbane and has developed EzyGreen with its partners as part of the Living in Brisbane 2026 vision.  This vision aims to reduce Brisbane's energy use per capita to be the lowest in Australia, and ensure clean energy options will be affordable and readily available.

The Queensland Government is committed to remaining at the forefront of Australia's response to climate change and is taking action on a number of fronts to reduce the state’s carbon footprint. This includes preparing individuals, communities and business for the impacts of climate change, by investing in climate change mitigation and adaptation measures across all sectors of the economy.
